Product
Patch is moulded from soft silicone with an NFC chip and magnet baked inside.
Tap your phone to lock your apps, tap again to unlock. It's designed to help people focus without noise.
We wanted the shape to be small, fun, grippable and hard to forget.

Photography
The photography style splits between real life and play. Patch is shot in everyday contexts, in hand, on bedside tables, and out in the world.
Alongside that, we leaned into fun, fisheye-distorted treatments that stretch and warp the object. Bold colour, exaggerated scale, nothing too serious.
Two modes for one product.

Visual Identity
The visual identity starts with the mark and the device. Rounded forms and soft geometry that spread out from the object.
Colour is the main idea. Black plus six bold, saturated hues. Loud and playful, built to stand out in a category that usually plays it safe.
But it still feels familiar. Made for a young, tech-native audience using the visual language they already know. Different enough to catch your eye, close enough to feel right.

App
The Patch app is designed to be as simple as possible. Tap your phone to lock your apps. Tap again to unlock.
Built in scheduling for the ability to auto-patch. Modes for different situations, from blocking everything to keeping email off.
You do you.

Out of World
When Patch goes out into the world, the advertising stays simple. One idea per piece, said with confidence.
Billboards lean on bold colour and plain language. Relatable setups, not corporate tech speak. Often just a few words and an image.
Not a word more.
